The client

Founded in September, 1995, Ford Vietnam is a joint venture between Ford Motor Corporation headquartered in Michigan, United States (75%) and Song Cong Diesel Company (25%) with a total capital investment to date is $125 million. Ford’s assembly plant in Hai Duong Vietnam was opened in May 11/1997 with a capacity of 14,000 vehicles a year.

Ford is the first automobile manufacturer in Vietnam to receive ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and QS 9000 and ISO/TS16949 – 2002 for quality management. Total staff at Ford Vietnam is more than 600 employees worked at offices in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and factory in Hai Duong.

For nearly 20 years of operation in Vietnam, Ford Vietnam (FVL) has achieved impressive success and gaining trust, love of customers with products recognized for safety, quality high, innovative and meet the market demand. With 25 dealers throughout the country (as of June 7/2014), Ford Vietnam has been expanded in terms of quantity and quality.

From the 7th position in the market at the start of operations in Vietnam in 1997, Ford Vietnam has grown steadily and in July 2014, Ford Vietnam stood at No. 3 in the market occupy 10.4% market share, driven by 3.1% growth compared to the same period last year and an increase of 70% in 2013.

Up to now, Thai Translation has completed more than 9000 document pages in the language pair English – Vietnamese for Ford Vietnam. With adequate services, experienced translator team specialized in engineering, translation projects have been completed  excellently before deadline.
